Fishing
We have a small fishing lake on site, well stocked with general course fish including carp, tench, chub, roach, perch and bream. The lake area is very pleasantly landscaped, and has been planted to encourage wildlife. The lakeside paths are paved, and there is a sheltered patio area alongside with seating.
Fishing Rules
Please read our collection of do's and don'ts before fishing. They are for everyone's benefit and hopefully will make your fishing at Glencote a memorable experience.
The lake has been created and stocked to provide good fishing; it is not a play pool. We expect anyone who uses the lake to have a basic knowledge of coarse fishing techniques; ie playing and landing fish, unhooking, correct handling and returning fish to water.
An Environment Agency Rod Licence is required to fish this water.
A current Glencote permit is required to fish, and must be obtained before fishing.
The bailiff will check tickets daily. Tickets are not transferrable.
