Park Rules

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A booking consititutes a legal contract.

All arrivals and visitors must stop at the entrance and check in at reception.

Pitch times, arrival not earlier than 3.00pm and departure not later than 3.00pm

Only one car per pitch is permitted. Additional cars must be parked in the visitors car park located at the main entrance and must display a valid parking ticket. Extra cars incur a charge.

The park and all its facilites are used entirely at guests' own risk.We will not accept liability in respect of any person or property. This includes the laundry. Guests must ensure that their vehicle and personal insurance covers for third party liability whilst on the park. Caravans being moved or stored by us are at the owners risk.

We reserve the right to remove from the park persons behaving in a manner likely to cause a disturbance or damage to property.

When specific pitches or special requests are asked for we will do our utmost to site you as requested. However, specific pitches cannot be guaranteed and we reserve the right to allocate a pitch at our discretion.

Units must be pitched at the direction of the park staff. This is to ensure compliance with the site license and for safety and privacy reasons.

Visitors to your pitch are your respnsibility and must check in at reception on arrival. Visitors will be admitted to the park by appointment only and after paying the appropriate fees.

Electricity is supplied at 16 amps, 240V. This is suitable for low wattage appliances, not domestic appliances. We reserve the right to disconnect the supply at any time as required.

Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the children's play area or around the fishing lake. Dogs must be exercised off the park and all fouling on or off the park must be cleaned up by the person responsible for the dog. Dogs must not be left unattended.

Unit size

Our pitches are big enough to pitch a caravan and standard 8ft awning. Larger awnings may only be used if specified when booking. Gazebos are too big to be pitched in place of an awning and may only be pitched as directed by park staff. Tents must be pitched over the hard standings, or as directed. Large and awkwadly shaped tents are too big for our pitches. For tents over 6m two pitches must be booked.

To stop didturbance and inconvenience to our guests, here are some guidelines. 

Dishwashing

Sinks with hot water are provided for dishwashing in the amenity block, please only wash dishes in the sinks provided for this use. Our water is metered, please avoid waste thank you. 

Laundry

Within the amenity block there is a laundry room equipped with washing machines, tumble dryer and a sink for hand washing. Please only wash laundry in the sink provided for this use. 

Waste water/Chemical disposal

All waste water and chemical toilets must be disposed of in the emptying points provided. waste water containers and chemical toilet cassettes must only be washed out at the emptying points. 

Drinking water taps

These are located at each pitch and around the park. They are for DRINKING WATER ONLY and we ask that you use them hygienically and economically. 

Bicycles, scooters, skate equipment

These are allowed on the park but please, no speeding and no riding around the amenity block or other people's pitches. Motorised scooters, bicycles and skateboards are not permitted. 

Fires and barbeques

No open fires are allowed. Disposal type barbeques are not permitted. Portable barbeques are allowed. Please keep all hot pans, barbeques etc, of the grass. 

Children

Children are your responsibility. An adult must supervise children at all times. Loitering and playing around the amenity blocks or other pitches are not permitted. Ball and throwing games must not be played around the caravans - there is ample space in the play area provided for such games. Play equipment in the play must be treated with respect. All damage and breakages will be charged. 

Noise

This is a family park, so please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum and no noise at all between the hours of 11.00pm and 8.00am. 

Fishing

The park has a well stocked fishing lake. For details of fishing please the leaflet. 

Cars and Vehcicles

 Cars must be driven with care whilst on the park roads and must not exceed 5 mph. Cars must not be washed or maintained on the park. Please note that the Road Traffic Act applies to all vehicles on the park roads. 

Litter/Rubbish

Bins are provided for the disposal of your rubbish. Littering of the park and surroundings will not be tolerated. Large items of rubbish must be disposed of off site.
